![]() Would it be better for me to buy the python or spend more time saving up for the anaconda ? ![]() I currently have 100 million credits saved up. I'm wanting a combat ship for my next purchase. If I was smarter I would buy a second Python for the mining, and sell the Krait or repurpose it, but I like the view from the Krait's cockpit. I usually leave the scoop at the nearest station, and take sensors with me to probe the rings, then I switch back to the scoop, when I'm full, or ready to sell. The Krait has one less optional slot than the Python, which means I usually fly without advanced sensors or a fuel scoop. My last haul of mixed diamonds, opals, and whatever else that was in the the hold sold for just over 150mil. It's engineered just enough to hit 40ly jump range empty. I have a Krait MkII set up for deep core mining, that cost approx. spend a day or two doing that, and you'll have enough cash to outfit anything you want, with plenty left over for multiple rebuys. I would say get a Python set it up for opal mining. sort of trader/explorer, but armed enough to handle npc pirates with ease. Outfitting a Conda can get quite expensive. I'm not sure you would be able to effectively outfit a Conda for combat on a 100mil budget. Both are great ships, but if you have a budget of 100mil I would say the Python will give you more bang for your buck. ![]()
